As promised, here are a few photos taken at the Goff Family Reunion on Aug. 25, 2001, in Bluffdale, Utah. If you follow the road due west for about 5 miles from the park where we met, you'll be on what used to be the back roads of a small town called Herriman, where I grew up.

Utah is a beautiful state. I was lucky to have been sired and raised there, coming to that realization only in retrospect, years after leaving. My family on my father's side are the salt of the earth...and very bizarre, not unlike the vast majority of decent American families. Or world families, for that matter. We're a strange species...the Goff strain of same being one of the more strange. I love them all.

Ray and Max Goff, two of my father's brothers.

My Aunt Leola....my father's youngest sister

Cousin Kathy (she's available at the moment guys...)

Don Goff (my father's youngest brother) and Chris Chadwick (Chris is married my dad's sister Thora).

Dale, Chris and Thora's oldest son.

Cousin John sitting next to his wife Debbie.

Uncle Max and his son Leland.

A rose between two thorns....my darling wife Liz, between my older brother Ralph and Cousin Larry.  Liz made it easy to be there...
