Max Goff is a Technology Evangelist for Sun Microsystems, specializing in various Java-related technologies including Jini, the Java language and Java and Management.
 In his seventh year at Sun, prior to joining the Evangelists group, Max was in the Network Ops Software group as the JMAPI (JXM) Evangelist. He started with Sun as a Program Manager with responsibility for  the SunSoft relationship with Legato Systems of Palo Alto.   Before joining Sun, Max worked for Amdahl, Unisys, Sperry and Unibase Systems. He served as the Chairman of the X/Open Kernel Working Group during the production of XPGIII and XPGIV.  Max  has an MBA from the University of San Francisco, 16 years of experience in software development and management. He is  an udergraduate alumni of Fordham University (Lincoln Center Campus) as well as the University of Utah (Salt Lake City, Utah).  Living in Manhattan, Max pursues an acting career in his copious spare time.
