The movers arrive at 7am.  We're still not entirely packed, but we have the rest of the evening to complete our tasks.  Liz and I are both extremely excited about our new residence in Reno.  We'll be renting a lovely two bedroom space with a view and a one-car garage while we await the ultimate development of the property where we plan to build.  It will take us a while, but we're determined to construct our dream home within two years or so on 22+ acres of Ponderasa proper.  The views from the land are incredible.

As such, this is my last entry from a permanent domicile in Manhattan.  At least for the short term.  Liz and I may elect to return one day and live again in this great city.  But for now, it will become sweet memories for us and the destination of choice for business and personal adventures to come, with eyes forward in eager anticipation of new opportunities and adventures in Nevada.

Thinking about it, it seems to me I've always wanted to live in Nevada.  Even growing up in Utah, Nevada had a mysterious air about it; discernibly different from any place I'd ever seen, even in the west.  For us to now be moving there intent upon building our home and making our stand, as it were, enjoining the opportunities that technology and business evolution have presented, is truly a dream come true.  I'll keep this one short, as more packing remains.  My next entry will be from Reno.
