I don't have much time, as I've been a bit lazy about writing this entry and now I have a flight I'm getting ready to take. But I am about to soon depart on another evangelist mission, and so must make note. Besides, it's been over a year now since I started making these entries. It's time.Tonight I fly to Brussels. I'll be there a few days, then off to London. It's for the Sun Technology Days world tour, the European segment. The European segment started in Milan last week and will wrap up in London next week. I'll be catching up with the tour mid-point. In addition to a Jini presentation, I'm also going to be the master of ceremonies for both cities, which should be fun. I've not done much MC work in the past, so this should be a good learning experience for me. I'm thrilled they asked me to MC.
The judge in the Micro$oft case ruled that the Redmond giant was indeed a monopoly. I don't have much of a comment on that -- from my perspective, it's been quite obvious that Bill Gates has been ethically challenged for many years now. And with the federal court now agreeing, perhaps we'll see some remedy to the situation that makes sense for consumers. Let us hope so. But, it's been a good week since the judgement was handed down -- a very good week.
